Measure the real light
Observe hours of direct sun, shadows across the day and distance from glass. Human eyes adapt to dim rooms; plants cannot.
Change conditions gradually
Leaves formed in shade can scorch after sudden full sun. Acclimatise over days and protect the pot from reflected heat.
